At a well attended DRAG meeting last Monday the discussion centered on the upcoming bracket finals. Of note:

The group reiterated last year's policy of paying the entry fee for any person racing at the Brackets who is a member of DRAG. A couple clarifications were added for this year: DRAG membership had to be official as of that meeting (9/8/08), and any DRAG member racing for another track will also have their entry fee paid. Lively discussion, that.

Captian Gary the Announcer Guy is ordering shirts - he had a demo to show us. The track is renting a tent for us, so there will be a place to hang out and eat (and drink and play cards and generally bust on each other). There will be a lot of food provided, like last year, so plan on joining the party. Gary will also be glad for any help with decorations and fan support in the bleachers during the races. You go, Gary!

In other news, track safety was discussed, in light of the accident last week. DRAG will most likely be helping out with the purchase of some needed safety equipment - be aware that there may be some special fundraisers for this purpose!
