Major topics of discussion last week incuded:

Guardrail status - The insurance co. has granted the track an extension of the June 1 deadline to finish the guardrail - the track is planning to run 1/4 mile for as long as we can. Work is continuing to try and get the guardrail here and installed.

50/50 raffles - Make sure you see Jasmine in the morning any day the track is open - she is doing a great job selling the 50/50 tickets. We are behind last year's take only due to fewer racing days. Thank you all for your support - it only takes a dollar and a dream....

Bracket Finals Captain and Colors - Gary the Tower Guy was unanimously elected Captain for the Bracket Final team this year, after the terriffic job he did last year (that's what you get for doing a job well...!). He suggested a military theme to this year's team, perhaps with camo T-shirts....What do you think??

Track maintenance - A track dryer, drag and sprayer are in the works. Thank you to the volunteers helping to get track equipment on-site, up, and running! Also, remember to keep a look out for "spare parts" on the track - eyeryone's safety depends on it.
